Where to configure policy routing?

I successfully configure policy routing with "ip route ..." and "ip rule
..."

Where is the correct place to put these commands, so they "stick" when I
reboot?

I'd say /etc/network/interfaces as up or down commands, or as scripts
in the /etc/network/if-*.d directories.
